THE STUDIO FOR ACTORS
SUE HAMILTON STUDIO is a space where actors come together to work on their craft from the inside out. Through Hamilton’s clear and action-based acting techniques, students are given specific tools to apply at auditions for film, television and/or theatre. Students of SHS have booked series regulars, national commercials, films and Broadway shows using Hamilton’s techniques, and find them invaluable while working on set. Every class includes industry discussions, and Hamilton provides action items for actors ready to take their careers to the next level. Guest teaching artists Patrick Bristow (Improv), Trace Turville Konerko (Chi Gong/Tai Chi), Jud Williford (Acting/Speech) collaborate with Hamilton to bring their unique expertise and style to SHS.
Sue Hamilton has worked with Jane Lynch, Patrick Bristow, Abraham Higginbotham, Alison Arngrim, Cathy Ladman, Sally Kirkland, Gina Rodriguez, Sol Rodriguez, Jenna Lea Rosen, Melvin Jackson, Jr., Paul Elia, Henri Esteve, Ellen D.
